Looking to hire a live band for your event? The Start has worked in all types of rooms since 2009: bars, race tracks, tiny spaces, restaurants, pubs, halls...you name it! We guarantee professionalism, courteousness, along with looking and sounding great!

The Start puts on an energetic live show that is certain to please any crowd. If your audience enjoys dancing to British-influenced rock, pop and R&B, consider The Start for your event.

Songs / Playlist

Our set lists are a great mix of hits and hidden gems, but if you require any specific songs, please let us know in advance so we can rehearse them. We normally have about 80 songs rehearsed at any given time and we can send you the list if you contact us. We have a small sample of our music on our songs page.

Sound and Lighting

For larger rooms, bars and organized functions, PA systems and stage lighting are normally handled by the owner or organizer. However, smaller functions may require us to bring our own sound and lights. Drop us a line, describe your requirements and we'll see what we can do.
